Since natural diamonds were discovered in Botswana in 1967, it has become home to two major mines. Jwaneng and Orapa diamonds contribute to the country’s economy and help support local entrepreneurship and business growth.

Rough diamonds arrived along Namibia’s coast 40 million years ago via the Orange River. Today, these marine deposits are the richest known in the world and help shape Namibia’s economy.
